Your Town Is Next - The AI Invasion Happening Now

While national headlines focus on the Middle East and political fights in Washington, a different kind of battle is heating up in communities across the country.

Huge hyperscale AI data centers, some the size of small cities, are being built at breakneck speed. The tech giants (Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta) are pouring hundreds of billions of dollars into this infrastructure, and it’s landing directly on farmland, water supplies, and local power grids.

In this video, I lay out what’s really happening:

  • Electricity bills doubling in “Data Center Alley” in Virginia and spiking in Texas and other states
  • Prime agricultural land being bought up and paved over at a time when the U.S. cattle herd is already at its lowest level since the 1950s
  • Massive water consumption for cooling at a time when the western U.S. is facing historic drought conditions
  • Growing community backlash like recalls, protests, blocked projects, and in some cases, violence

But I also give the other side of the story that many angry residents aren’t fully considering: the United States is in a critical AI arms race with China. The nation that wins AI dominance will likely hold a decisive advantage in military, economic, and technological power for decades. Data centers are the factories of that race.

This is a complicated issue with no easy answers. Tech companies are pushing hard, communities are pushing back, and the stakes, both locally and nationally, are extremely high.
