7 Everyday Carry Items You're Not Using (But Should)

These are the EDC items most people overlook. Everyday Carry gear is what you carry on you as you go about your life. Today, I'm talking about 7 overlooked items you're probably not using... but you absolutely should.

Most people think EDC is just keys, phone, wallet, and maybe a pocket knife and something for self-defense. Some of you include other items like first aid, multitools, and a flashlight, which are all great and should be considered. This isn't about emergencies, but just making everyday life easier and more livable.

Item 1 - Meds

- Personalized mini-kit for common ailments (pain, allergy, indigestion, etc)

- Customize for you and include any critical prescriptions you may have.

Item 2 - Emergency Cash ($20–$200)

- Power outage = no ATMs, card readers fail.

- Gas, food, or a ride still often requires cash.

- I put a 20 or 50 in my phone between my case and phone and some more in my sling bag

Item 3 - Multitool, but with scissors

- Covers dozens of small fixes and emergencies.

- Saves you when you don’t have your full tool kit.

- I say scissors because my wife asks me on a regular basis if I have scissors so she can cut threads off her clothing or some other minor thing.
